Sports Law International is the sister publication of Media Law International, extending our research and analysis into the rapidly evolving field of sports law. As the sports industry continues to grow in complexity and commercial significance, legal expertise has become increasingly central to the operation of sporting bodies, clubs, leagues, athletes, sponsors and media organisations.

Through comprehensive research, rankings, interviews and thought leadership, Sports Law International recognises excellence within the sector while providing valuable insight into industry challenges and opportunities worldwide.

Building on the established reputation and international network developed by Media Law International, Sports Law International adopts the same commitment to rigorous research, editorial integrity and market insight.

TAKE PART

Taking part is free. We distribute research questionnaires for completion to all participating firms and request submission by deadline. If you do not receive a questionnaire please contact the editorial team. To ensure our research is extensive and objective, we also conduct a range of interviews with partners, who we believe know their market best. Interviews last approximately 60 minutes and are carried out by telephone or are face-to-face. These are semi-structured and cover legal and economic developments, legislative changes and rankings. Interviews are also a good opportunity to learn about the progress of firms.

Interviews are an important part of our research process, they allow us to explore each market thoroughly. This is essential because our job is to accurately represent each jurisdiction under review. As well as partner interviews, we conduct interviews with in-house counsel and other buyers of legal services. Client interviews give us a 360 degree perspective of the market, which means reliable, credible coverage. Information gained from client interviews is non-attributable. However, client comments are included in editorial reports as they provide our readership with validation and a broader perspective of each market. TAKE PART.
